    1. Add, don’t subtract food

    We’ve all been in the position where we decided to be healthier. So we ate a healthy breakfast, we fought off the hunger and ate a healthy lunch, but come evening time we just couldn’t take it anymore, we were starving. This is a very common issue. So what we are suggesting is that you add healthy foods to your diet. Make sure you are keeping track of how much food you eat in a day, but don’t make it a priority to skip snacks or meals, because the odds are you will fail.

    2. Stop “working out”

    Just the combination of the two words causes us to suddenly have a full schedule. We just don’t have time to work out. However we do have time to take a walk, go roller blading, play soccer or go on a bike ride. So stop calling it working out, and start finding activities that you enjoy taking part in. Before you know it  you’ll be much more physically active.

    3. Find was to get more active

    Activity is pertinent to weight loss. So the more ways you can think of to get active, the better. We have a few suggestions for you: invest in a push mower, get off the bus a couple stops earlier, park in the back of the parking lot, take that stairs when you get the chance, sign up for charity events. There are tons of ways to become more active.

    4. Drink more water

    It is a brilliant idea to keep water with you everywhere you go. Have a glass before your meals and you will feel fuller, faster. Take water with you to events where there may be a buffet or lots of food. Keep water with you at the office if you are an avid snacker. We aren’t saying snacks are bad, but you are much less likely to overeat if you are well hydrated.
